DA Offices used for rape, theft of public funds, child abuse & violence are NC's "Culture of Corruption," according to the FBI. Collusion to destroy any opponent to corruption, proponent of democracy, justice & public service.

DC is a glorified expensive bedroom community. For all that pre Coof it did have some bustle to it. That’s long gone. As dead and soulless as the prevailing political caste inhabiting the place. I’d love to see rents return to the pre Bush war years but I’ll be gone by then.

Thank you for the work you do! It's atrocious what is happening. So much waste, no accountability to set things straight.

I hear many say that DOGE is gonna solve all our problems. One utube channel person said that "they" are fixing to bring in AI, so MANY fed workers will be unemployed. Imagine that burden on our economy, as tho we aren't doing bad enough right now. And imagine trying to locate a missed check fm the givt with an ai-type. Scary stuff. :/

We need to seriously reduce the number of federal agencies and their employees. And we need open books on names and pay (and at least the city/state in which they work) of all employees.

My brother works tech support for the Department of the Interior. He is an honest worker and shows everyday for work. In his at home office. Hasnt been to the real office in Denver since the bogus pandemic kicked off. He says his team members, to include the management structure, rarely log onto the system that they serve. Typical government employee attitude. The taxpayer owes them a bogus living. PU.

Working from home is not necessarily bad for taxpayers IF the work is getting done. Sometimes there are less distractions working from home. I have gotten emails from government employees evenings and weekends which surprised me. So long as the work gets done it does not seem like a problem and keeps traffic off roads.

Seems to me there should be no problem with remote work. All the information should be computerized, so why can't these government workers access the information needed to do their jobs? Something just isn't adding up as I read these articles. But, it also seems to me that weekly, biweekly, or even monthly in-person meetings should be required. Some of these jobs, I would think, would be repetitive form-filling jobs, and workers should have the ability to do those anywhere. But everyone should be familiar with their co-workers, and be working toward the same goal in their group. Guess I just don't understand government work. Oh, and the vacation? Most of us have to work five years to earn two weeks of vacation. And at far lower salaries. This is just more wasteful spending. I know, duh!

Why can’t Managers/Supervisors require employees come into their home offices for a period of time to the be able to petition for a different possible ‘hybrid’ remote/office reporting. The approval would be based on job and group performance being achieved. If the Boss say ‘no’, let them walk away!!!

Have of the DC folks are working from home. The rest just live in their offices at work.
