You state that 1 out of three work remote, then in bold letters you state that 6% of workers show up for work. Is it 6% or 70%? Thank you for your quick response.
Not quite sure the math is right, perhaps you can explain better? Per OPM Leave accrual, one gets 4 hrs per pay period (biweekly, 26 pay periods in a year) for those under 3 years of federal service, 6 hrs per pay period for those with 4-14 years of service, and 8 hrs per pay period if in service for 15 and more years. My math is 13 days off for <3 years, 20.77 days for <15, and 26 days for >15. So where did you get the 44 days off? Did you add in the federal holidays to come up to the number?
Massive income tax strike is in order!!!! If they don't want to come back to work, We the People don't want to pay income taxes to fund non-existent government jobs and empty buildings. Keep doing the same thing over and over again, to try and get a different result is the very definition of insanity. The only way to stop the insanity is for either a tax strike, or as in several U.S. Tax Court cases and U.S. Appeals Courts said, " File as a concientious objector against funding foreign wars and declare 8 BILLION DEPENDENTS on all tax returns. Every taxpayer in the United States is allowed to claim over 8.025 BILLION dependents/exemptions (population of the world as of 2023) on their W-2s, W-4s, 1099s, 1040s, etc. The case precedent for this is by a Federal Court in U.S. v. Snider, 502 F.2d 645 (4th Cir. 1974) (Listing 3 BILLION dependents on W-4 was ruled as proper).
I will add that almost all the employees at the LibraryofCongress appear to be non-Americans non-English speaking and here on visas---why are these creatures able to take our collective history and change it as we are digitizing these historical documents---sometimes just a few words are changed while other documents have whole papers changed and all of that changes what is considered to be our legitimate collective history--in 75years there will be no one left that can tell the real history of our times and places. That should be of concern to all of us.
Now, let’s get those government leeches moved permanently back home, fired (with modest severance), and off the taxpayer dole. This must stop. The Out-of-Office employees obviously aren’t doing their jobs — wherever they are. And they aren’t needed.
Any agencies that continue to phone it in should be permanently closed, the real assets sold, and proceeds returned to taxpayers. Unused office furniture, anyone?
I have had the necessity to call the government more than once since the pandemic. It's been obvious the employees are working from home. Not only are they distant from the office they are also distant, detached, indifferent, disinterested, impersonal, unconcerned and consistently UNHELPFUL and even misinformed when communicating with me. They get away with this because no one is looking over their shoulder and they are accountable to no one.
There is a simple answer to a complex problem. All Federal Employees MUST show up personally at their assigned offices to collect their paychecks until further notice. They must have two pieces of photo ID with them to identify them plus a verifiable document showing their occupation, position and work place assignment until further notice. This would allow for a full census of government employees and also tell us all how many are still alive and providing meaningful data for their remuneration.
END SWATTING IN NC by CORRUPT CRIMINAL LEADERS, DAs, JUDGES, LAWYERS MEDIA WHO ENGAGE IN VIOLENT CRIMES, RAPES, BRIBES USING TAX DOLLARS. US DOJ, FBI, NC & LOCAL TERRRISM, CHILD ABUSE, HOMEINVASIONS, EXTORTION, SMEAR CAMPAIGNS w/tax funds:
After decades of embezzlement, bribery, rapes, lynching's, child sexual and physical abuse in public schools. and political violence and terrorism by N.C. judicial, law enforcement & government officials, aided by DOJ, FBI, other Federal Agencies & officials.
DA Offices used for rape, theft of public funds, child abuse & violence are NC's "Culture of Corruption," according to the FBI. Collusion to destroy any opponent to corruption, proponent of democracy, justice & public service.
DC is a glorified expensive bedroom community. For all that pre Coof it did have some bustle to it. That’s long gone. As dead and soulless as the prevailing political caste inhabiting the place. I’d love to see rents return to the pre Bush war years but I’ll be gone by then.
Thank you for the work you do! It's atrocious what is happening. So much waste, no accountability to set things straight.
I hear many say that DOGE is gonna solve all our problems. One utube channel person said that "they" are fixing to bring in AI, so MANY fed workers will be unemployed. Imagine that burden on our economy, as tho we aren't doing bad enough right now. And imagine trying to locate a missed check fm the givt with an ai-type. Scary stuff. :/
We need to seriously reduce the number of federal agencies and their employees. And we need open books on names and pay (and at least the city/state in which they work) of all employees.
My brother works tech support for the Department of the Interior. He is an honest worker and shows everyday for work. In his at home office. Hasnt been to the real office in Denver since the bogus pandemic kicked off. He says his team members, to include the management structure, rarely log onto the system that they serve. Typical government employee attitude. The taxpayer owes them a bogus living. PU.
Working from home is not necessarily bad for taxpayers IF the work is getting done. Sometimes there are less distractions working from home. I have gotten emails from government employees evenings and weekends which surprised me. So long as the work gets done it does not seem like a problem and keeps traffic off roads.
Remote work as a concept is not the problem, accountability is. And there’s no one at the government who knows how to ensure people are working without physically watching them at their desks. That’s what the REMOTE Act is designed to address.

Imagine the costs of maintaining unused office space. Also, heating and cooling. Us taxpayers must be made out of money or something.
Get in touch with Elon and Vivek. They need you.

This is why President Trump assigned Musk and Ramaswamy to the DOGE. Hopefully they will resolve these types of issues.

Nope.
