It's like the Pentagon spending $150 for a hammer. The books show this but they don't really do it. The money is spent in other areas, and in this case, maybe a laundering job to get more money back to the Democratic Party and Administration. Sad times for the USA.
The silent takeover has been hugely successful. DEI is now academia's business model, no longer based on humanities (a shrinking sector). As any business, they seek to expand so they hire DEI graduates to perpetuate a cycle that sustains and grows the DEI ecosystem. This is crucial for continual relevance and financial viability bc there is otherwise no demand for the product.

They had yard signs all over campus- find out about our new ‘public health’ major
And they also had Hunter Biden as a guest lecturer- need I say more! Just who you want imparting wisdom on your 20 something kid…. Not.
I told my daughter if she went there and called me to tell me she was changing her major to public health… she’d be on the hook for her tuition! I wasn’t paying for that nonsense

I will soon have two in college and it’s a NIGHTMARE to pick a college today… honestly… the vaccine mandates for attendance… colleges with ‘social Justice’ infused across the entire curriculum

How about colleges focus on meritocracy l, skill building and high paying jobs for kids after graduation. There’s a NOVEL idea!!

The people of North Carolina must contact their elected officials immediately and inform them that their continued elected status will depend upon their immediate action with respect to this outrageous use of public funds and time. There is no conceivable way to justify these DEI programs or similar programs. Wake up, North Carolina!
